What amounts for spring?

Well, most of North America and Europe is now getting adequate amounts of uvb sunlight to make Vitamin D in our skin. Conversely, our friends in the southern hemisphere are looking at their fall and winter...so they may have to increase their levels of D.

The sun can have many other positive effects beyond producing Vitamin D . It can effect both the number of tcells and their behavior. It also causes melanocytes or tanning cells to migrate to the surface of the skin. All three things are a small part of the puzzle.

The formula should be changed for the spring and summer..

Vitamin D should be reduced to 1000iu to 2000iu/day. Gelcaps in oil if possible but the white pills will work...just make certain you take them with a full meal anytime during of the day so they are absorbed,....1000iu is adequate if you get sun...and its what i take along with the 400iu of D in the multivitamin. If you are a larger person or don't get as much sun then a total of 2000iu may work better.

50mg enteric coated peppermint oil before meals or two peppermint altoids before after and between meals

ibuprofen....................200mg (advil or motrin) I take it in the evening....but you can take it anytime . ... always with fluid and a snack

Small multivitamin ...a small one a day or childrens multi vitamin ...with not more then 3000iu of Vitamin A

if you can afford it or have access, i would also take.

25-100 mcg of b12..especially if over 60
100-200mcg selenium...if you are small 100mcg...larger 200mcg
400mcg folic acid (in the summer with sun) there is another 400mcg in the multi.

3-5 fish oil or 2 flax oil at your discretion.....I now take 5 fish oil and 2 flax oil and split them up to at morning and evening meals...some don't like the burp effects of fish oil...change the brand or enteric coated fish oil is effective.

With a little sun this can be very effective...a sun tan booth can also help...you might have an itching stage for about a week...this will pass and an extra ibuprofen might temporarily help with the itching. This should be easy.to do and you should feel good on it... moods will improve. If you don't feel good...then back up...take just the 1000iu of D..after a few days slowly add the multi...another few day, then the ibu...and over a week of two add the rest...
