Diet and Inflammation.

If there continues to be inflammation and redness then it's time to look at any possible source of inflammation which can"piggyback". Many infections or inflammations can exacerbate or worsen the symptoms ..this includes gout,a sinus infection, gum disease or tooth infection, a possible H pylori infection, Strep, IBS etc...those are all things to consider.

Look at your diet which can be another possible source of inflammation and one not often obvious but which can be very common ...Its time to try a simple diet for at least two weeks, get some sun, and the formula

suggestions

morning,......., Oatmeal, any rice based product.. ..a little milk if dairy hasn't been a problem..,, coffee or tea...no bread, no wheat based cereal or fruit juice. I take the first peppermint a half hour before breakfast and every other meal

lunch....... simple salad, most veggies, vinegar and olive oil, dark fruit..ie grapes, , brown rice, tuna, chicken, salmon, lean beef or pork in modest amounts, no tomatoes , onions , citrus fruit or eggs

Dinner...........brown rice fish such as tuna or salmon, lean beef pork or chicken.. most vegetables, salad and vinegar and olive oil, coffee, tea,

NO gluten or flour products, including no bread, cookies, breading, candy, No corn or corn syrup products, citrus fruit, lunch meat, No pizza, ice cream, cheese. no potatoes, no soda, no junk food including chips, granola, snacks , popcorn..No onions, tomatoes, potatoes, No Dairy if its a problem. No eggs

We are trying to remove any foods which may cause an inflammatory response with the assumption that we do not know what they are....and we do this for a couple of weeks to try and get a reduction in that inflammation..If you should determine ( it should take only a week or perhaps two) that your diet may be an important instigator of inflammation which may be more convincing once you see some remission ..then you can begin to add things back to it to make it more reasonable..Until i get a good remission i stay on basically the brown rice , veggie lean meat diet .With a remission of symptoms then you can go back to a more regular diet by experimenting,,,,. along with some sun and the formula including the peppermint and you can turn this around..

So its the formula where each ingredient helps to reduce inflammation, include some sun or UV with its positive effects on reducing inflammation and finally some temporary diet changes to reduce inflammation and the menthol in peppermint to effect some changes in the small intestine and skin...all four work together to get some control. In the winter without sun, you can maintain this remission with increased doses of D , omega3's or fish oil ,the rest of the formula and the right diet...
